IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System is a standardised test for non-native english language speakers managed by Cambridge , British Council and IDP . I just want to create awareness that this one is an international exam unlike TOEFL which caters to the needs of students preferably opting only USA as their place of choice . Many people aren't aware of its speciality so here i am to give you guidance of any sort :)
Basically IELTS is categorized into Academic and General Training version .. they sound obscure but are actually very simple:
1. Academic Version is generally for students who wanna enrol themselves for higher studies and even for doctors who wanna practice in an English speaking country.
2. General training version is generally for them who wanna undertake work experience or for immigration purpose.
IELTS is being highly considered for GRE that is Graduate Record Examination apart from MBA .
