Election Tracker-1

Guys, As we all know elections are coming it is important that we keep track of where all the parties stand.. So in this blog ill track the poll estimations for some big states. Today lets check 2 states i.e Gujarat and Maharashtra . Comparing the june 2013 poll estimation with Jan 2014 poll estimation which give you a good out look on who ll emerge as the next national ruling party

As per the latest confirmation on the poll elections there is one more party which ll add up to the tally.. i.e AAP. Though AAP is a new party infact a very new party, the latest statistics show that it ll surely turn some seats towards itself. Now let us start with Modi's Rajghat Gujarat. And to no ones surprise this still remains the adda of BJP. (FORT). now let us see the POLL comparision in Gujarat

GUJARAT :   JUNE 2013                        JAN 2014
BJP                      56                                53
CONG                   33                                32
AAP                       0                                 7
(as per %age)
However Its the Impact of AAP that has reduced the vote percentage of BJP but still out of 38% who want AAP to contest only 19% think of voting. And the picture completely changes when asked if they want Modi to be the PM.  Almost 46% of the people in Gujarat back him to be the PM.
AS PER SEATS IF ELECTIONS ARE HELD NOW THE PICTURE IS AS FOLLOWS:

GUJARAT : JANUARY 2013
BJP              20-24 SEATS
CON            01-04 SEATS
AAP               0-1 SEAT

TOTAL LOK SABHA SEATS FROM GUJARAT:26

Now lets take a look at Maharashtra, Where Modi wave has set in now and even here the BJP leaders are backed heavily... lets take a look

MAHARASTRA:   JUNE 2013               JAN 2014
BJP +SS+RPI (A)         37                      44
CONG                        43                      35
AAP                            -                        5

Its clear that the break up of 2 parties, the demand of Vidharbha state becoming less and unhappy farmers have got BJP significant gain. Infact it is said that BJP on its own will gan 40 percent votes. However their alliance with Shiv Sena which will lose 2 percent votes and RPI will do enough for them to gain significant lead.

NOTE: UNLIKE GUJARAT MAHARASHTRA IS NOT A FORT OF BJP AND MOREOVER THE PRESENT GOV RULING MAHARASHTRA IS CONGRESS.

And now if we see in terms of seats Clearly BJP crosses the line easily
                                                                     Seats (Jan 2013)
BJP                                                                24-33
CONG                                                             13-20
AAP                                                                  1-7

Stay tune for other city poll estimations..:)
