Gandhi Satyagraha movement

Yesterday way back in 1930, The Salt March, also mainly known as the Salt Satyagraha, began with the Dandi March on 12 March 1930, and was an important part of the Indian independence movement. It was a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly in colonial India, and triggered the wider Civil Disobedience Movement. This was the most significant organised challenge to British authority since the Non-cooperation movement of 1920–22, and directly followed the Purna Swaraj declaration of independence by the Indian National Congress on 26 January 1930.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (commonly called Mahatma Gandhi) led the Dandi march from his base, Sabarmati Ashram near Ahmedabad, to the coastal village of Dandi, located at a small town called Navsari, in the state of Gujarat. As he continued on this 24-day, 240-mile (390 km) march to produce salt without paying the tax, growing numbers of Indians joined him along the way. When Gandhi broke the salt laws at 6:30 am on 5 April 1930, it sparked large scale acts of civil disobedience against the British Raj salt laws by millions of Indians.[1] The campaign had a significant effect on changing world and British attitude towards Indian independence[2][3] and caused large numbers of Indians to join the fight for the first time.
After making salt at Dandi, Gandhi continued southward along the coast, producing salt and addressing meetings on the way. His party planned to stage a satyagraha at the Dharasana Salt Works, 25 miles south of Dandi. However, Gandhi was arrested on the midnight of 4–5 May 1930, just days before the planned action at Dharasana. The Dandi March and the ensuing Dharasana Satyagraha drew worldwide attention to the Indian independence movement through extensive newspaper and newsreel coverage. The satyagraha against the salt tax continued for almost a year, ending with Gandhi's release from jail and negotiations with Viceroy Lord Irwin at the Second Round Table Conference. Over 80,000 Indians were jailed as a result of the Salt Satyagraha. However, it failed to result in major concessions from the British.

Helplessness! ( A true story )

Hello friends ... lemme tell you a story .. a true story of a girl whose life keeps testing her , a story in brief and lets see where it leads to .... a few instances might relate with your life's story yet at the end of the tale am sure it will eradicate pessimistism and fill you with bravery and optimism.

Whenever we plan to do something very crucial in  our life , we face many hurdles but they say the end result will be fruitful ... is this the same case with everyone ? Does this girl in the story can reap the benefits ? Lets find out !

This story is about a girl who faces so many tough situation or should i say challenges in life that every new thing she tries to do leaves its memories with her . Challenges wen faced looks good for a short span of time but what if they strike your door always ... how much patient can someone be and take out good of every small thing .. i always in my blogs kept spreading the message of keep smiling but will that work in this girls life ? :o A few incidents from her life to throw light on ====

Since her childhood she had to face adverse situations , like example  firstly she has a dance competition and her prop ie a pot breaks , sad but okay it might happen with anyone ; next she goes to write her final exam of undergraduate studies and she loses her hall ticket suddenly that morning when the exam is about to start , okay lets call this as carelessness ..next she wants to book a slot for comptitive examination and she discovers that her passport which is mandatory for booking is misplaced and she re applies for the passport but in vain and three months later she discovers it at the same place and when she finally gets succeeded in booking the exam slot , the main exam day she was not allowed to write the exam because of some name problem and for that exam she has payed 10k INR and was already late  ..Job , she applies but always fate will not leave a chance to play with her and she will always end up facing the toughest panel or a ruthless HR.Applies for foreign universities yet gets rejected not due to performance where she always excels at but due to limited seats .

Problems .. Problems ..  this is just a glimpse of what life has given her but the real deep rooted stories and that pain is more horrifying . Rejections everywhere , challenges even though a topper her importance was not known to the world . I just don't understand why God plays with the life of people who are good and diligent , cant good things happen in their life in a simple yet pleasing way .

She have cried in darkness , she have cried in rain , with all pain but no gain .
O my Lord if this is what life wants to bestow on me than i would rather prefer to die than live ,
such creepy thoughts kept wandering in her brain .
But still she is stumbling and again standing still , waiting for a miracle to happen .
A heart filled with pain and grief yet a face always cheerful and serene.

Lengthy but an effective story , dunno what else will happen all has happened in her life .. hope a miracle happens and i get something good to share :) who is she and what finally happens .. where  does this rough path full of thorns lead her ? will she be tasting the fruit of joy or will the fate again take its course !

 ( **** Story To Be Continued ............... ****)
Tagline: When life puts you in tough situations , Don't say why me ? Just say try me !! Don't lose yourself , come what may .
 St@y tuned
