A human robot - " The Robonaut " developed at NASA's space center in Houston,Texas is the first to fly in space . They are many other robots which are designed to move large objects but this one is designed to work alongside astronauts in space moreover they are even being trained to learn certain medical procedures in the event of an emergency .
It is second and most advanced , in series of four dextrous humanoid robots designed to help humans work and explore in space .
They where launched to International Space station as part of STS-133 mission on 24th February 2011 and climbing legs and battery back up are the new objectives to be met in 2014. Lets catch a glimpse of them :p
