Hawking-BBC (2004)

Stephen Hawking- The great scientist, theoretical physicist, cosmologist,Author and Director of Research who has done significant scientific work on Gravitational Singularity Theorem, How ever I had no idea of a movie or you can say a documentary that is already made on his first steps to this big discovery. His book  A Brief history of Time stayed on British Sunday Times for 237 weeks on which this whole documentary was set up.

Well, The great Stephen Hawking was not the reason why I watched this documentary, that to after 7 yrs of its release. It was only because of BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. Yeah the one who plays Sherlock Holmes in The most popular TV series Sherlock.  The way he acts in Sherlock is no where to what he performs in Hawking. Guys its was just the endeavor and his perfect style that almost made me think that it was Hawking himself playing his own role.

It was a pleasure to watch this documentary. Physics lover and the once who have lost all hopes in this cruel world this surely is the documentary to watch. It tells us about his yesteryears when he was 21 and was pursuing his PH.D when he first cracked the singularity of  the particles and found the justification to Einstein's predictions about the formation of the Universe and the Big Bang Theory.

It is always said that to achieve something you need to cross hurdles... In the case of Hawking it was his steadily growing illness THE MOTOR NEURON DISEASE and how he still lives with it and achieves what no one has achieved. The doc ends with hawking saying the following

"YES We are small... But we are capable of profoundly doing much bigger things"... :)
