1994 World Cup Final Recap

If 90's World cup was compared to cynical gaming strategies,.1994 World Cup was total opposite, it was held in 9 cities of USA. Total of 141 Goals where scored in this tournament (2.71 goals per match) pointing out the aggressive nature of this tournament. Apart from this the tournament was also known to be the most popular in terms of the total crowd which came to see each and every match.

 The World Cup final was played between Brazil and Italy. After no goals being scored in the normal time and extra time Brazil went past italy in the penalty Shootout round by defeating them scoring 3 to Italy's 2. However the Final match will be remembered for Italy's Roberto Baggio who missed the penalty and confirmed Brazilians reign. However Baggio did play for Italy till the next world cup but was never said to be the same aggressive player he was once known for. Baggio in his Biography did mention about that penalty miss saying it still gives him bad dreams.
