Once a group of 50 people was attending a seminar, suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one a balloon. Each one was asked to write his/her name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.
Now these delegates were let in that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written, within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos. At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Now each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.
The speaker began— exactly this is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.
Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness and this is the purpose of human life.

Facebook buys Whats App
$19 billion dwarfs almost everything else about the Facebook-WhatsApp deal. And when it comes to money matters- almost everyone seems worried about how Facebook is planning to get returns on this massive investment.
While it is clear that WhatsApp has been acquired more for its 450 million user base than its monetization strategies, there is a clear gap between Facebook and WhatsApp's basic premises.
Recently, Mark Zuckerberg put to rest some increasing shareholder worries around mobile monetization with new types of ads. Advertisement revenues indeed form the financial bedrock of Facebook. WhatsApp owners, on the other hand, have been vocal about being averse to advertisements on their messaging platform. They also seem to be antipathetic to most other existing ways of making money from consumer internet services. Jan Koum and Brian Acton have thus far followed the "No Ads! No Games! No Gimmicks!" rule to keep their messaging service free from advertisements and other complexities
However Zuckerberg said it ll not be right to do so for monetizing. Hence it will be nice to see how both the companies team up to gain profit out of it

Hawking-BBC (2004)
Stephen Hawking- The great scientist, theoretical physicist, cosmologist,Author and Director of Research who has done significant scientific work on Gravitational Singularity Theorem, How ever I had no idea of a movie or you can say a documentary that is already made on his first steps to this big discovery. His book A Brief history of Time stayed on British Sunday Times for 237 weeks on which this whole documentary was set up.
Well, The great Stephen Hawking was not the reason why I watched this documentary, that to after 7 yrs of its release. It was only because of BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. Yeah the one who plays Sherlock Holmes in The most popular TV series Sherlock. The way he acts in Sherlock is no where to what he performs in Hawking. Guys its was just the endeavor and his perfect style that almost made me think that it was Hawking himself playing his own role.
It was a pleasure to watch this documentary. Physics lover and the once who have lost all hopes in this cruel world this surely is the documentary to watch. It tells us about his yesteryears when he was 21 and was pursuing his PH.D when he first cracked the singularity of the particles and found the justification to Einstein's predictions about the formation of the Universe and the Big Bang Theory.
It is always said that to achieve something you need to cross hurdles... In the case of Hawking it was his steadily growing illness THE MOTOR NEURON DISEASE and how he still lives with it and achieves what no one has achieved. The doc ends with hawking saying the following
"YES We are small... But we are capable of profoundly doing much bigger things"... :)

I'm a Barbie gal!! its BACK!!
Mattel’s newest Barbie is an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur of what, exactly? Who knows, but check out her cute little iPad!
After pursuing over 150 careers, Mattel announced at Toy Fair this week that Barbie would be starting her own company. The mystery-startup-running go-getter is dressed in a neon-pink dress with black heels and a black belt, and comes with her own smartphone and tablet.
Much like many real life entrepreneurs, Entrepreneur Barbie seems to have little idea of what her company actually does. Given the current climate for women at startups, perhaps next Mattel can craft “Silently Enduring Sexual Harassment With the Hope I Will Get a Raise” Barbie; “Making Less Than My Male Counterparts” Barbie; “Getting Turned Down by Investors Because I’m Pregnant” Barbie; or “I’m Going to Die Eating This Sad Salad at My Desk Alone” Barbie.
At least Mattel is attempting to empower women to get into business, we suppose–even if it’s not clear exactly what that business is.
“We always try to make career Barbie a reflection of the times,” Mattel spokeswoman Michelle Chidoni told CNNMoney. “Women entrepreneurs are more prevalent now and they’re growing in number. [It's] a great way to encourage girls to also learn about this role.”
Barbie girls keep waiting... for entrepreneur is here..:)

Russia Abolishes Serfdom
On this day in 1861, six years after being crowned as Tsar of Russia, Alexander signed the Emancipation Act, bringing to an end the centuries old institution of serfdom. It brought immediate freedom to 23 million Russian peasants, who until that point had been the property if their masters and existed in a world devoid of rights and privileges.
It existed in Russia since the 11th century .From the earliest of times, landowners held a right of taxation over the peasants living on their land. Soon the laws that govern ownership rights evolved and the power of landowner over the peasant became all encompassing. A succession of decrees made the peasants evermore beholden to their masters. Eventually every aspect of a serfa's life was controlled by their land owners. A serf could not even marry without the permission of his master.
And it was Alexander who led the reform which was not so much as a sense of liberal enlightenment but more a recognition that Russia was seriously behind its European neighbors. He assumed the Throne in Feb 1855 at the end of Crimean War. Alexander realized the backwardness of Russia and started reforms to make Russia one of the better nations and among those reforms Serfdom was one.

BUDGET-2014
Auto makers Tata Motors BSE -0.46 % and General Motors India today announced they will cut prices of their products after Finance Minister P Chidambaram decided to reduce excise on automobiles in the interim Budget 2014-15.
"We will definitely pass on the benefits of these excise reductions to the consumers for our new dispatches from tomorrow (as applicable) and are working on the details of the exact reductions," a Tata Motors spokesperson told PTI.
The various cuts across the different categories of passenger and commercial vehicles is a very positive step as these will make the vehicles more affordable to the consumers as well as the transporters, she added.
"GM India will pass on the excise duty relief to its consumers and is currently studying the fine print to determine the exact amount across its car lines," General Motors India Vice- President P Balendran said.
Excise duty on small cars, scooters, motorcycles and commercial vehicles will come down to 8 per cent from 12 per cent earlier.
SUVs will attract excise duty of 24 per cent as against 30 per cent earlier.
Excise duty on large cars will now be 24 per cent compared with 27 per cent earlier.
So Chidambaram has basically tried to stabilize the interim budget as there are elections policies cant be set.. :)
